Thank you to everyone who participated in the GOCA survey related to the Montgomery County Council size. We had over 100 responses, with over 85% of the respondents desiring some change in the council structure. This results will be presented at the February 22nd Montgomery County Charter Review Commission listening session. This breakdown is shown below:
A more detailed graph of the results with respect to what structure can be seen below, with the winning structure (~44% of the total vote) being 9 districts and no at large members.
Lastly there were many comments received as part of the survey, which GOCA has reviewed.
