The Lake Hallowell HOA Board of Directors has recently received a series complaints regarding potentially hazardous use of our common area facilities.
While we are both flattered and honored that you find our privately-owned lake, pathways and common areas beautiful and useful, we want to ensure a safe and secure environment for both homeowners and guests of our lakeside community.
In order to ensure a safe and secure recreational environment, we ask that anyone visiting our property adhere to the following rules:
- Due to Covid-19 we ask that you follow all County and State recommended social distancing and safety guidelines
- We ask that you limit the utilization of the lake area, including the lake path, to the hours of sunrise to sunset and, in doing so, adhere to County and State noise ordinances.
- Please note that boating, swimming, and fishing are not permitted in Lake Hallowell.
- Use of motorcycles or mopeds is prohibited on our common area pathways.
- The Lake Hallowell paths are designed for pedestrian use. We ask that individuals riding bicycles & scooters limit your speed on common area pathways and yield to the right of way to pedestrians.
- Please do not leave litter on any common areas, pathways, or the lakefront property. Please carry all trash and debris with you as you leave.
- Please ensure that any pet droppings in common areas are picked up and disposed of.
- Please do not enter private, residential properties. Pedestrians and pets are not permitted on privately-owned properties.
- Kindly do not feed any wildlife, or disturb the ecological or animal habitat of Lake Hallowell.
We hope that by adhering to the above guidelines everyone’s experience will be both safe and enjoyable.
Sincerely,
The Lake Hallowell Board of Directors
