The past year, 2020, was a year of many challenges and changes for the GOCA community. We
transitioned from in-person meetings to Zoom virtual meetings. We maintained the objective of
ensuring that members of the Olney community had a voice at both the county and state levels.
We provided opportunities for members of the Olney community to share their voices and weigh
in on local issues. Most importantly, we were full of gratitude for our representation in Annapolis
by our district 14 and 19 teams.
The Greater Olney Civic Association (GOCA) objectives are to study, plan, coordinate, and
promote the community’s overall civic, economic, ecologic, and cultural welfare within the Olney
Master Plan Area. GOCA is a “known quantity” amongst our local officials, and we will continue
to work to maintain that standing.
The renewal of your membership and continued participation is essential in continuing GOCA’s
